Get That Look For Less!

By Kaiá

We have all been there – inexperienced and poor. But we women are born with the desire to wear fancy clothing, no matter our age and size (or wallet). So, if you are inexperienced and don’t want to spend all your money on festival dresses, expensive hanboks and the like, read on and see how you get a smashing outfit for under 1 gold. I will give you a few tips on how to copy expensive outfits that require much experience to wear, and make your own no matter what your experience and wealth.

Silver-Thread Robe vs. Simple Black Dress

First up we have the Silver-Thread Robe vs. Simple Black Dress. Now, I am sure that most of you are familiar with the Silver-Thread Robe, which in despite of its relatively poor magical effects, has become one of the most expensive robes on the auctions. It’s a shame because you can wear this robe even when you aren’t that experienced. Should it happen that you make a bargain and get the robe for a fair price, you are one of the few lucky ones. For those who can’t afford it, the simple black dress is a fancy alternative. It is crafted by a tailor for affordable materials. This dress can be found in all sizes, and I’d say that it can be worn by females of all ages. A true classic!

Naiah (left): I love this robe! You look classy even if you choose not to combine it with bracers or other accessories.

Sarae (right): The Simple Black Dress is very comfortable to wear, however I could wish for a more exclusive look.

Twilight Cultist Robe vs. Frayed Robe

Next up is the Twilight Cultist Robe vs. Frayed Robe. The two robes have many details in common, even though the Frayed Robe can be worn by everyone where the Twilight Cultist Robe on the other hand requires the wearer to be fully trained. Many of us have once in our career had a Frayed Robe, but unfortunately many of us sold it to a merchant instead of saving it. If you mix it with the right sandals, some beautiful bracers and perhaps a shirt or a hat you have yourself a lovely outfit.

Naiah: (grins) We look like twins. To be honest I don’t see much difference between these two robes.

Sarae: Me neither, but if I had to choose I would take the one Naiah is wearing because of its slightly darker colors.

Warrior’s Embrace, Tuxedo Pants and Bandit Boots vs. Studded Leather Harness, Frayed Belt, Neophyte's Pants and Recruit’s Boots

Warrior’s Embrace, Tuxedo Pants and Bandit Boots vs. Studded Leather Harness, Frayed Belt, Neophyte's Pants and Recruit’s Boots. The Warrior’s Embrace can only be found in very dangerous places, and being plate, is very heavy to wear despite its small size. Therefore it’s not suited for spellcasters and other not so muscular beings. Instead you could buy a Studded Leather Harness which can be purchased for only a couple of silver pieces. It’s hard to find completely black amor pieces when you aren’t that experienced. But these Neophyte's Pants make a nice alternative with their dark grey color. The boots we see on the model on the right are actually the first pair of boots that warriors are given, and can be worn by everyone. Luckily black is one of those colors that can be worn with any other color, so mix and match these amor parts as you like, I can almost guarantee that you will end up with a stunning look!

Naiah: I really like this outfit. It makes me feel a little hardcore (giggles). I would have added some gloves, bracers and a black headband though.

Sarae: I feel comfortable and good-looking in this outfit at the same time, which for me is very important. You would think that it cost much more than it actually did. I look like a million (smiles).
